Does Opera work well with 10.8.5 Ive downloaded it but hesitate to install without input from the community.

I would add this though, any website that makes itself not compatible with Safari is actually opening itself to hacker attack, and not likely to be as secure with your data as websites that do support Safari.

Safari starting with Mac OS X 10.7.3 supports Oracle Java, and all open source standards and is much less easy to hack into than websites developed specifically only for Internet Explorer.
